The name Randall was probably misspelled "Randle" in the 1850 Scioto County, Ohio, Census.

The English word "mustard" is derived from the French word "mustarde".
This name could have originally been French then Anglicized to "Mustard" which could account for the statement by Helen Mary Randall's daughter Fannie Whittaker that the family had some French ancestry.

Isaac married Sarah Mustard, daughter of Samuel Mustard and Unknown. (Sarah Mustard was born in 1811 in New York, USA.)
